In theory, I practice presence / mindfulness and try to avoid speaking through ego. In reality, I'm outwardly a normal human being, totally not perfect, and I have my unconscious moments, too.
It would be great to find someone who shares a similar desire to be more conscious and is willing to both give and take helpful reminders when we start to slip up. Finding someone truly interested in this has been rather difficult for me. It is something I have had a hard time finding through traditional dating sites, so hoping to have better luck here.
I'm conscious of my physical desire for a partner and I'm following it with as much awareness as I can. I want to try to provide you with the masculinity that you desire from my side of a partnership while I keep from slipping into unconsciously identifying as a "side."
Some hobbies: backpacking, fermenting, movies, music, making smoothies and kale chips, day hikes, running, board/video games, and math/physics. I have a ton of appreciation of film, classical music, game design, and animation. I also really enjoy books, audiobooks, graphic novels and live performances. Usually, I much prefer to stay in and cook meals and watch a movie / Netflix / play something (alone or together) rather than go out to dinner, but I enjoy going to the movies, classical music, opera, and other live performances.
During the pandemic, I ran at least 10k every single day to avoid lockdown boredom in the steep Santa Cruz Mountains. Although I've reduced that due to repetitive injury, I care a lot about my health and hope you care about your health, too! I prefer to use natural healing for physical/mental health -- holistic medicine, diet, exercise, supplements, and meditation/present-mindedness to ease stress. I'm not on board with some pharmaceuticals used in conventional medicine that only treat symptoms!

While self-development and discovery is a life-long process, I have found a few Key-Values that I have found myself believing in and acting out on consistently over many years. Therefore, I am reasonably sure that they are a part of my core personality:

1.Learning- I enjoy learning through many modes – pursuing academic degrees, reading books, talking to others, hands-on, workshops. I am a life-long learner.
2.Minimalism – I have seen that I consciously make choices to keep my needs to the bare minimum. I live with a wide-open heart full of unconditional, expansive love. I practice random acts of kindness nearly everyday. I meditate, do online breathwork sessions and enjoy spiritual (not religious) books and events.

I enjoy simple things in life very much and helping people and being helped too at times.
Dancing is something I enjoy and I am excited about opening up my singing voice much more.
I do various work including working as a session leader for a charity with people with disabilities, massage therapist and working in the mountains as a wild crafter at times.
One of my favorite things to do is be in water, in the ocean, a lake,river or creak. I have had the pleasure of living in situations where I could do that daily, I really wish this again in my life and sharing this is really fun too.
As a teenager I made it my intention to live a life in which I did not look forward to getting drunk on the weekend, I never want to wish any of my working days to hurry up and finish-that would be wishing part of my life away and I realised that long ago too. I think I have been very successful up to now in avoiding such ways by enjoying doing different types of work which i get paid and different types of work I don't get paid for-I don't have chores as i enjoy cleaning and getting food and other life activities, I enjoy a lot of things I do, seeing them as valuable in themselves as experiences. I have loved working with kids and wish to do this a lot more.
I love mending, making and repurposing things and practices of living simply. I have done some talks and a few articles on this subject. In many ways I live simply, this primarily being so others can simply live; and I earn less, buy less,trash less and because of this I think I have a beautiful life in many ways.
