| Vegan since November 2012 (was lacto-ovo vegetarian for over 20 years before that). I never really was very fond of the idea of eating an animal. I remember when I was very young around six or so and my father fixed me a bloody hamburger and I asked where the blood came from and he said a cow and I was grossed out from that point forward. What drove me to become veg -- the horrors I discovered in the way animals are raised and treated for food production. ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL AND DISGUSTING! |
