| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I eat vegetarian or vegan meals, mostly for health reasons though I appreciate the many other reasons that vegetarianism makes sense. Great amounts of resources (water, land, grain, etc.) are used to raise animals which could instead feed hungry humans in the world. "Factory farming" of animals raised for human consumption in many cases seems unnatural at best and at times perhaps even cruel. I read parts of "Mad Cowboy" which should discourage meat consumption by thinking people. |

| I like the Hippocrates Institute's approach (sprouted foods and fresh vegetable juices), macrobiotic and also the Hallelujah Health (vegan) approach to diet. I'm a piano teacher, bandleader and (largely jazz oriented) pianist/composer/arranger. I'm interested in jazz, classical and some pop music, alternative medicine and energy, fair trade and current events. I'm interested in developing my faith and believe in living by the Golden Rule and in being honest and ethical. I would say my politics are middle of the road. I like to exercise at least 2-3 times per week and express a few humorous observations and jokes from time to time. |

| I would like to find a (female) life partner who is a music lover (possibly a musician) and is mostly vegetarian or vegan, has some interest in religion and/or spirituality, enjoys reading and learning, is open to alternative medicine and who would like to raise a family together.
