| I'm vegetarian because I believe we can nourish our bodies without killing animals. I am not vegan but I prefer vegan food. A vegetarian diet is part of my general health consciousness which also includes regular exercise, healthful food, meditation, and taking time to relax (I do work hard). |

| I have a passion for design and architecture. I'm trying to figure out how to integrate my interest in design with my concern for the future of our natural environment. I've just designed and built my own house and I realize how much material and energy goes into building the spaces we live and work in. I hope to find new ways to build with less impact on the earth. I also enjoy traveling abroad, learning about other cultures and languages, getting to know my friends and family, and expanding my circles. I'm generally curious about the world and like to know how things (and people) work. I enjoy dry, off-color humor.
