Why I'm Vegetarian
I feel it is ethically wrong to eat animals when other options are available for most of us to be healthy enough. There is no humane way to kill an animal that doesn't need to die provided we have other food options available. I also want to reduce my carbon footprint by not consuming animals. I also feel it is anti-vegetarian to be pro-organic food because the reality is that this farming method has a larger carbon footprint and requires manure from slaughter animals to grow well at scale. Organic food is not more nutritious, safer or sustainable. This is a propaganda from the Corporate Organic Agenda to fool ignorant and entitled Westerners who are scientifically illiterate. Sri Lanka's entire country and economy collapsed within a year of banning all non-organic fertilizer because at the advice of Vandana Shiva. Sri Lanka only produced around 25% of the manure necessary for their rice crop alone and pretty much all the manure in the world is already spoken for and they couldn't import enough to compensate their deficit. Crops failed, people starved, revolted and overthrew the government. Organic farming would only feed around 4 billion people and would require millions more slaughter animals and land to feed them if all the arable land in the world was grown organically. It's a lie.

More About Me
Hello there! A bit about me.... I'm fascinated by objective reality, critical thinking & science. This seems to be almost nonexistent in the world, especially the veggie community. I would rather remain alone shaping & polishing myself into a beautiful gem for when I meet the person I have waited a lifetime for than be with a place holder. Still here? Wow! Great! My interests are vast and being interested in science and the arts are not mutually exclusive. I love art, classical literature, most kinds of music, & enjoy romantic movies & period dramas. I play guitar & want to get back into piano someday. I like hiking, camping & hotsprings. I have been told I am an excellent cook & have baked my own bread since 2001. I am have construction experience & am interested in woodworking with have tools to build a house. I have a BS in chemistry. I still don't own land, but have excellent credit and hope to be ready to buy/build my first home the next time interest rates go down. Just can't decide on where. I'm thinking outside of Astoria, OR as it is close to Portland, gets more rain than Southern Oregon and has cooler summers. I generally never drink since I haven't had alcohol in two years, but I do like it once in a great while. Moderation. I was considering starting a small vineyard and selling to a winery. I'm also open to moving someplace else for the right person and situation.

I'm Looking For
To pique my interest, my three boxes of attraction need checked: physical, intellectual, and emotional. It starts with physical attraction, an indicator of health and longevity. Please be physically fit and active. I joined a gym in August of 2024 and have been working out around 1-2 hours a day, 5 days a week. I have a home gym, but needed to get out of the house and around people. It was a bit scary at first, but the experience has been very positive and encouraging without judgement. I love the classes. I even Zumba to learn how to dance while getting in some cardio. Next is intellectual attraction. A person who values a comfortable lie over an inconvenient truth will lie to me when the truth is too inconvenient. I would develop contempt for a person who valued subjective experience and belief over objective reality. I want a person who is literate in basic science who has studied critical thinking and basic logic to avoid having our ignorance exploited by things like organic farming, anti-vax nonsense, alternative medicine, psychics, astrologers, religion, spirituality or other pseudoscientific, unfalsifiable nonsense. Adults believing in make believe is such a turn off. The Unnatural Vegan's YouTube channel is grounded in science and like her video on how organic farming is anti-vegan requiring animal waste from slaughter animals for fertilizer, at least on a scale to feed the world. Believing in untrue things is expensive, dangerous and not eco. And finally, I need to feel safe, validated and supported emotionally. I'm an open book and happy to be vulnerable, but please don't use it against me. Love is finding one's own sense of happiness, contentment and purpose within serving the happiness of the beloved while having faith that this devotion will be reciprocated. I'm a hopeful but realistic romantic! Until I find that special someone I've been waiting a lifetime for, I'll be dancing with myself.
