| Why I'm Vegan |
| Vegan for the animals. As a youngster, I felt that drinking milk and eating eggs was wrong. That was followed by the realization that it was wrong to eat creatures akin to the furry members of my family... with whom I felt kinship. That was the beginning (like 40 years ago). Things have grown since then; greater awareness of environmental concerns, "food animal" treatment, & health issues.... all those things have reinforced what I initially felt. |

| 16 years on this site ((with something like annual usage)) and I am mostly single for 25 years… To say I am discerning is something of an understatement! My interests are varied, even within my interests. Tops on the list are food, music, nature, science, art, craft, and conversation. Diversity is embraced, as is family. I have lived in and loved the city and the country. I have strong opinions on political and religious issues/beliefs, but none of them fit any party line. Discussing those things, whether we agree or disagree, is something I enjoy. My body type is not really average for my age, just to me. I am in good shape: work out a bit and ride a bicycle as my main transport. |
