| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I'm a 30 year long vegetarian for all the reasons (about 95 I think). Mostly, It is not necessary for me to kill animals to survive - especially the way animals are inhumanely killed for meat. If I were to eat meat again it would at least be organic - another important reason - the additives they put in meat makes it more unhealthy. I feel healthier physically and philosophically not eating meat. It's cheaper, and vegetarian cooking is healthier and even more artistic using alternatives to meat. Also, imortantly, meat is a waste - for 100 people eating hamburgers, the grains the cow eats to produce that could alternatively feed 1000 people (if effeciently distributed) - the planet has 1 billion people starving, and another 500 million malnourished (let's get real!). The way animals are raised for meat is another issue - inhumane conditions. Without meat I am not overweight, feel more energetic, and feel better! I've been vegetarian for about 35 years and am usually, ideally vegan. |

| Hhhm, didn't I say I'm an artist? Art for me is a lifestyle and philosophy, and an awareness. Although my watercolours, stained glass, writing, and music is art, so is my cooking, gardening, therapeutic Thai massage, teaching, and hopefully about everything that I do. | A lady with a good heart, similar lifestyle, dreams, and philosophy. Living in Thailand mostly, a Thai would be a plus, but I am quite aware that the colours of one's soul and personality are many and can easily eclipse the flavours of one's nationality. I'm not colour blind. I'm looking for a friend/girlfriend and/or more to share my life with. My life is relatively incredible; it's been very eventful travelling and experiencing the world singly, but more and more I'd like to share my life and experiences with someone - which makes these experiences more special! I welcome friendships as well as possible intimate encounters and beyond. It's great to have friends and lovers. Life is short. I do too much alone though in the last years. Join me! |
