| I like what Isaac Singer said, "I did not become a vegetarian for my health, I did it for the health of the chickens." I've been veg for thirty years, eight years ago I went vegan. Since then, at least once every day, I notice how clear my lungs are, how good it feels to breathe. So that's been a nice side benefit. |

| I'm a typical liberal arts person and an atheist. As to the atheist part, I think there's something much smarter than us in the universe, but it's been awfully quiet. I like eating at vegan restaurants, there are several within a few minutes of me. Often I'm quiet, sometimes not, it depends on the situation. I like to be witty and can get in a Monty Python mode if someone is receptive to it. I'll talk about anything but run from someone who wants to argue. I'm creative and always need some kind of project, usually it's writing or music. Most people like music, but I am a bit of a nut about blues, rock, and jazz. I've written some clever songs, IMHO. I'm flexible and will usually do anything others want to do, but I'm not big on travel, especially long trips. I've always been aware that my life is finite and I should live it fully, yet it has been simpler things like spending time with animals and nature that have met that need the most. I like people but am more comfortable in one-on-one conversations than in groups. |
