| I am an animal advocate and my moral compass dictates how I live on this earth causing a minimal amount of suffering of non-human animals ,respecting the earth and being conscious of our impact on all living beings. |

| Transgender former New Yorker and compassionate animal advocate with a creative and artistic side. Love working and being outdoors, love being by the sea, am content reading or listening to music, can hold my own in varied conversations, am learning to grow my own food, and am constantly looking for new ways to live. I co-managed a farmed animal sanctuary in Vermont, and now have a small sanctuary on an island in Maryland, where I am working to get my Wildlife Rehabilitators License. .My family in Vermont included chickens, cows, ducks, pigeons, doves, cats, dogs, and a couple of horses. I also worked at a small animal veterinary clinic as a technician. I enjoy making art from found objects and am looking forward to winter when things get a bit slower around here so I can finish up the nine million art projects that are waiting for me! I live on a small island in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay and appreciate our small community here. I hope to relocate to coastal Maine in the near future. |

| I would love to have more vegan friends. It is difficult to live in a world where being vegan is an anomaly. What I am looking for in a partner is someone who shares the same moral compass as I do, is passionate about sanctuary and animal rescue, sees outside the box when it comes to way of living, is up for a game of scrabble or chess, has books in their home, enjoys the harshness and the beauty of wild places, is comfortable being a little uncomfortable, is up for an adventure kayaking, metal detecting, biking, or anything that gets you out of the house! |
