| Why I'm Vegan |
| Simply put, I am a vegan as I am aware! Vegan primarily for ethical reasons - I love life and animals (and animals also obviously love life). I also love not only living, but living without cruelty. I have been a vegetarian since third grade (locked eyes with a cow in a truck on the way to be killed, and took a tour of a hot dog factory), and relatively recently (around thirteen years ago) made a gradual transition to veganism. The environmental and health benefits are a nice bonus. |

| More About Me |
| I just don't see myself loving someone who doesn't care about killing / eating animals. For many of us, being a veggie is so much more than simply a diet. I'm a former airline pilot changing careers (not by choice). My highly profitable airline was bought out, suddenly unexpectedly closed, the airline pilot retirement age was raised from 60 to 65 (no attrition for five years), and the economy was horrible. I sure miss flying the Boeing 727...the feeling of 48,000 pounds of thrust at my fingertips is difficult to duplicate! The beauty of the Earth from above is so breathtaking. A scratch in my eye from a brand new contact lens has cost me the career I so enjoyed. I went back to school and obtained my LPN, but have not used it yet due to a number of family tragedies. I had been taking care of my vegan Mom full time. Congestive heart failure is no fun. She fought a valiant battle, but is no longer with me. Now I am working on getting my house ready for sale to move into my parents (a few acres and a swimming pool). I love music - tastes range from classical to oldies (Sinatra) to alternative, but I especially enjoy acoustic Latin / Mediterranean guitar. Hammocks - such a simple invention, but so relaxing! Canoeing, boating, bicycling, experiencing nature, tennis, or even throwing a Frisbee are all fun fair weather activities. Based on my profile, you probably wouldn't guess I love to laugh, and joke around often. Sometimes my delivery is too dry for people to realize I'm joking...love watching the five second delay as someone gets it! I also enjoy a nice cuddle, going for walks, deep, and not so deep discussions. I love being on, in, or near water! Do you feel the same? |

| Someone who is genuinely nice, but also may have a good dose of spiciness. Maybe you could teach me yoga, or how to cook Ethiopian dishes? Definitely someone into monogamy. I don't play games, and expect the same consideration from you! Like me, you have an ache in your heart to find a great veggie connection! Hoping you can cause a myocardial arrhythmia which makes my heart go something like this: boom chicki boom, boom chicki boom when I look at you, hear your voice, smell something you have worn, or even simply think of you. To mention this also, if you are a supporting cult member of the sociopathic, narcissistic, misogynistic, bigoted, pathological lying (30,000 plus lies in office), cheating, failed businessman, amoral ignoramus, self-centered, unpatriotic scum of the Earth man named Trump, our morals don't match! If you are a modern day Republican, we don't match as I'm not interested in someone who has no morals or is totally out of touch with reality. P.S. I brush, floss, and recycle. P.P.S.
