Why I'm Vegan
Ethical vegan. Continued human violence has no mind, whereas non-violence & kindness is a path that allows lifelong growth & learning that may help us avoid being caught up in the day-to-day trappings of a painful world but to instead continually support positive change with the hope of expanding a circle of compassion. Who would not want to be involved with being proactive with one’s life to care for all beings & life, care for their own health & longevity, and protecting the environment which sustains all and future kindness.

More About Me
Growing up I have always felt that animals were close friends and these early experiences & emotions made it easy for me to choose veggie meals as an early young adult. My path is well established that sentient beings deserve rights to lives that fulfill their nature, and we humans can provide kindness without exploitation. My early career was as an engineer and then my INFP values a few decades ago led me to transition into healthcare. I'm always interested in local/global environmental concerns and often adjusting daily decisions to remain positive with my actions. I'm a science enthusiast, traveler, enjoy home improvement projects, animal caregiver, and free-thinker. As an introvert I always need some downtime to recharge as I find comfort in my path caring for nonhuman animals. Yoga is my daily staple to care for my mental and physical health, the spiritual-meditative component is always calming and it ensures I can remain as active as my younger self. Every day I also either visit an amazing dog park and in the afternoon often walk miles in my neighborhood of eclectic older homes or hiking in the rural foothills/woods at the base of the western rocky mountains. I was fortunate growing up to travel to less developed areas of the world which I think nurtured my strong empathy streak. I find fascinating experiences in paths that I stumble upon. It's nice to plan to accomplish things, but I can also have an attraction to loosely or unplanned travels that provide the opportunity for future experiences. I enjoy discovering new paradigm shifts that expand my views toward finding joy in the simple, ideally to become more like the dog with all its curiosity, simplicity, and joy of the moment or the next meal. I've adopted bits and pieces that speak of inclusive compassion and kindness toward all species (eg Jain non-violence) but my simple brain cannot see beyond this life we live and I've never been attracted to give up my responsibility and freedoms of my own thoughts. In my personal relationship with a partner I find comfort in shared values/commonalities forming a strong base for us each to be responsible for our individual and partnership happiness. I prefer deep, meaningful connections in my life, and since misunderstandings can so readily occur, a trusting relationship that doesn't make us offenders of our words is important. I'm grateful to be currently living with one of the happiest dogs I've ever known :)

I'm Looking For
I would like a partner to share life with, as best friends that have each other's back, and to share the highs and support during the lows of an otherwise quiet, peaceful, simple, good life. Opinions are honest, healthy, not set in stone, and by themselves not to be taken personally or as arguments. Mutual respect is a necessity and most importantly is my lifelong desire to continually really know, strive to understand, and be in awe of each other as the individuals we are. My needs with a partner are someone leaning toward daily kindness, integrity, unbounded compassion, and conscious of the value of emotional stability. Finding play anywhere, making play happen, being playful, and close touch are components of a daily love language that create and continue a deep connection. Being open-minded to possibilities and resisting assumption-based thoughts that enter our minds is always good as our paths are ever-unfolding, remembering that there is the current way something is done or thought and a not-yet-found different or improved way, they are not something for fear or to suffer anxiety over, but often the presentation of new path-opportunities for us to begin to know what we don't know.
