| Why I'm Raw Vegan |
| Became vegetarian in 1980, initially for spiritual and political reasons, and increasingly for compassion for animals. Then learned about the benefits of raw foods. Learned gourmet raw food preparation in 2002, and found huge health benefits. I eat mostly raw foods, mostly vegan. I do enjoy sharing meals with others, and will sometimes eat healthful vegan cooked foods, but most of my friends anticipate the gourmet raw dishes and want recipes for the various raw treats I contribute to potlucks. |

| More About Me |
| I am a good listener, and love helping people find their truth, and live up to it. I work in the alternative health field, and do my best when I get out of the way, and honor the natural healing process within each person. Singing and communicating with like-minded others gives me joy and gives my life pizzaz. Meditative practices give me a sense of who I really am, gives my life depth, and help me gain more discipline. I also enjoy hiking, walking, running, dancing, communing with nature and and laughing, and need someone to laugh with and be serious with. I am an avid organic gardener, and have taught Garden Communication classes. I believe we cannot achieve the purposes for which we were born, without both the inner work of self-reflection and self-awareness, and outer work that builds a sense of community by service to others. My life is based on spiritual principles, and I recognize our oneness within our apparent diversity. I am searching for a partner for whom a spiritual life is important. I don't mind taking it slow, and getting to know someone, since building relationships can take time. Or it can spark quickly with the right person. |
