| Why I'm Vegan |
| Why am I Vegan? For the last ten years I have been active in the "local sustainable food" movement with North Carolina farmers and hunger-relief organizations. Consequently, I have exceptional knowledge and insights about food, although I always aim to know more. Over the years, I've come to understand a hierarchy of diets and dietary lifestyles that 98% people choose. So, I have consciously chosen the vegan diet and lifestyle. Not for any reason other than for spiritual/ethical reasons. Think "conscientious objector". But I also choose vegan because I know what I am doing to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. In addition to being vegan, my diet also consists of an abundance of raw foods (and recipes), as well as more edible wild foods. |

I swim, hike, bike, camp, kayak, garden, play, and pray. I am forthright, always reliable, engaging both intellectually, emotionally, and physically. One friend also once described me as 'tenacious', refering to my convictions and my philanthropic vocation. | I am at a point in life still seeking someone divine. I am seeking an amazing woman who would someday marry me, raise our children together, and remain happily married. You are a vegan or vegetarian heading in the vegan direction. You know yourself. Hopefully you are very intelligent, considerate to others, moderate-to-very health conscious, moderate-to-very spiritual and/or occasional-to-regularly religious, filled with good intentions and filled with self esteem, but neither very selfish nor ego maniacal, a very good listener and a very good communicator, self-motivated and/or assertive, but not aggressive, and lastly moderate-to-very sexy, attractive, sensual, playful and happy. |
