| Why I'm Vegan |
| I went veg in 1984 as a result of a college film experience which pointed out the ethical and philosophical problems surrounding meat. I learned later that my parents thought it was a phase. And what a phase! I went vegan 18 months after my initial conversion upon finding curious things in my eggs one Sunday morning. I later became much more familiar with the health and environmental impacts of animal foods. |

| Hello! I live in the Baltimore area, and am a Registered Dietitian. My career passion is advancing plant-based diets for sustainability. I just completed my second graduate degree in Environmental Science and Policy. I enjoy animals (my cat Roxy is in a pic), Nature, vegan & ethnic cooking & dining, volunteering, travel (esp to vegetarian B&Bs), volleyball, biking and hiking. I've gone whitewater rafting twice, and would like to find a partner for at least one more adventure! (It's quite exciting, especially when you remember your sunblock!) I also enjoy living lightly on the planet, and am currently focused on simplifying my life, and finding new ways to reuse/repair/upcycle so I can minimize adding more. I love finding new vegan culinary delights at community events and festivals. I have fantasies of traveling around the country in a camper/trailer (or something like that), so we can prepare and enjoy our own vegan food and sleep under the stars. My traveling bucket list includes the sequioas of N. Cali (done in 2022), Grand Canyon, a park with caverns and Lithuania (where I'm told my ancestors originated). |

| I look forward to relaxing with you after a delicious ethnic vegan meal, especially if you are intelligent, romantic and have a good sense of humor. Being a vegan (or moving in that direction) would be best. I'm looking for someone who is working to make her own unique contribution to society, as well as a great partner for mutual contributions. We would share many common values and interests, while appreciating each other's need to have unique activities. Even better if you are accustomed to public displays of affection, receiving surprise flowers and having your man cook with you---and cook for you!
