| Why I'm Vegan |
| I have been plantbased for about 11 years. There are several reasons why I decided to change my lifestyle.. The most prevalent one is of course for the animals. I have always enjoyed being around animals, helping animals and caring for animals. It has taken me a while to make it to this point but now that I'm here, I'll never turn back. I also have a soft spot for pigs (specifically) and actually have 3 pet mini pigs in addition to a bunch of other animals :-) I am also eco-conscious and love being surrounded by plants. |

| More About Me |
| Well, for starters, I am the kind of person who rarely sits still. There are always weeds to pull, things to plant, pets to feed, my 2 kids to tend to (they are homeschooled), etc. I enjoy staying busy and love working with my hands and creating. I absolutely love being outdoors, especially in my garden- it's one of my happy places. I have a little 2 acre homestead here with tons of edible landscaping. I really enjoy kayaking and would love to hike more as well but my knees are pretty bad at this point. I mostly love getting out and doing things that don't always involve food. I've been told I'm one of those people that are "good at seemingly everything". I can throw a football/frisbee/baseball, I'm pretty decent at ping pong and am an excellent rock skipper most days. I always have a ton of ideas and an constantly working on projects around the house. I love to laugh, am confident, very affectionate, family-oriented and quite optimistic about nearly all things in general- I smile and laugh a LOT. Life's too short to not smile.
