| I am an ethical vegetarian. I try to keep a vegan diet, but my sweet tooth gets the better of me and I am apt to consume products made with dairy and eggs when out or at someone's home. Ideally, I would like to adhere to a vegan diet. That is my goal. I have felt a kinship with the other creatures on the earth from an early age, and prefer not to eat or harm anyone whenever possible. |

| I enjoy hiking through forests, especially those containing water features. I enjoy walking, kayaking, swimming, exploring new places and favorite familiar ones. I get my greatest joy from being in nature, especially when shared with like minded persons. I have been a pet groomer for over 35 years with a great love of companion animals. I used to bike ride and horse back ride, but have not done so to any great extent in recent years. I would be open to those activities and others. I would love to learn to cross country ski. I find it challenging to find restaurants that offer vegan options, although eating out is not at the top of my list due to the lack of restaurants in my area that do vegan well. I do not enjoy drinking alcoholic beverages, but may on occasion drink a glass of wine. I have not traveled extensively, but would love to accompany a special someone to new and exciting places. I do not consider very commercialized places exciting. I prefer locations that revolve around the natural beauty of an area. I am environmentally minded, and try to make a minimal impact on the earth. I do not use chemical insecticides, with the exception of spraying my hiking cloths with pyrethrin to ward off the ticks. Tick borne diseases are prevalent in my area and I have already had Lyme disease twice. I used to garden quite a bit, both veggies and flowers. I have been an organic gardener since I first rented a home. Even though I do not have my own home now I continue to compost and grow flowers by my door and herbs in containers. I am a nature girl who enjoys live performances, natural foods, travel, and the love of a compatible man. |
