| I don't want animals to be killed so that I can eat them. I'm not comfortable with the idea of eating another creature that feels pain and emotion. I'm moving toward being vegan, recognizing that animals suffer and are killed, as a consequence of being, in one way or another, "products" e.g. eggs, dairy, for our consumption. Not convenient to consider, and I wish I were more ignorant of this, but ... |

| I love to learn and NPR is a frequent companion. I enjoy the natural world a lot. Hiking, swimming, reading, movies, writing, photography are some of the things I most enjoy doing. I need a certain amount of quiet and alone time, but also enjoy being with other people. I have lived in NYC for 15 years, but am not sure I'll remain here indefinitely. | I would love to be in a relationship that is based on mutual liking, shared values. and enjoyment of at least some of the same activities. Ideally, I would love to have a man in my life with whom I enjoy conversation that inspires thought, and exploration of ideas and beliefs - not necessarily as a constant, but at least sometimes. Laughter would definitely be a plus. I am comfortable with someone who is not altogether like me. I would like shared kindness, playfulness and tenderness and comforting through hard times |
