| The short version: I love animals. The slightly longer version: At this day and age, in the society I live in, there is no reason for me to consume in a way that requires the kind of suffering and death that is a part of the industrialized use of animals for food. I am healthy and I really enjoy the food that I make and eat. To me, the question isn't why am I vegan, but rather - why would I not be? |

| Peel away the practical layers, and what's left is a love of people and animals (with a big bias toward dogs), a joy of movement (volleyball, acroyoga, martial arts), a deep connection with music (I love to play and sing, especially with others, especially harmonizing), and a yearning for trees and water (hiking, backpacking). I am constitutionally incapable of doing work that I don't find inherently meaningful, and fortunately have been able to start my own business and live off of it. I think it's cool. I'd love to tell you more about it. I have a son (born October 2017) who I love dearly and strive to be the best role model I can for him. |

| I'm Looking For |
| Looking for my last relationship. Firmly rooted in CT, since this is where my son lives (sometimes with me). I’d like to establish a home and a family that is a place of refuge and rejuvenation, where family and friends gather, and where strangers are welcomed as future friends. A family in which we take care of one another, and support each other as we pursue our truths. I like to play, and to learn, and to feel helpful. I've been getting more and more into acroyoga and jiujitsu. I play a couple of instruments, mostly guitar. I love harmonizing (shall we?), and animals (do you?). Before eating I take a moment to think about one of the many people involved in bringing the food all the way to me - the farmer, the trucker, the plumber who worked on the factory... Plant based. Grew up in Israel. MA in education and PhD in psychology. I started and now run a company that works with schools, universities and hospitals to prevent suicide among students and clinicians. I meditate. I don't drink alcohol or smoke. I don't use any drugs. I gladly cook for others and they usually seem to enjoy it, but if it's just me I can eat the same dinner for 2 years straight and keep loving it. I'm still close with friends I met many years ago and very far away. I love hiking and camping. I like the feeling of learning more than the feeling of knowing. I'll stop to pet any dog. I once petted a racoon, before being told it's not generally a Thing That One Does (we don't have racoons in Israel). What else would you like to know? :) |
