| More About Me |
| The two things I am most passionate about in life are science and comedy. I love learning new things and expanding my horizons. If I can combine that with making people laugh (or the other way round) then all the better! I actually experimented with stand-up comedy for a couple of years, which was great fun! Other than that I enjoy meeting new people and like to keep fit (bizarrely I own a cross trainer that I actually use). I feel strongly about animal rights and have an atheistic / rationalist perspective on the world. So best not to get me started on the fanciful notions advanced by continental philosophers of the 20th century (I have little time for fluffy ideas wrapped up in multiple layers of merino wool for added opaqueness). A non-exhaustive list of things I don not care for are: getting drunk, violent movies, screaming children, homeopathy and misplaced apostrophes. |
