| "Animals are my friends...and I don't eat my friends." -- George Bernard Shaw I still remember asking where meat came from (58 years ago) and the horror I felt when I tried to process the answer. Killing sentient beings and eating their corpses just doesn't resonate well with my sensibilities. |

| I have been a vegetarian most of my life. I am open to veganism. I am science literate, politically liberal, intelligent and educated. I love animals and have several ex-feral cats. I am a good cook. I am visual, mechanical and mathematically wired. I have a way with animals. I can be phobic with large groups of people. I am some mix of atheist, pagan & Buddhist. I am shy and some people find me hard to get to know, but I do come out of my shell with the right person. I would love to fall in love again. |

| I'm Looking For |
| a kindred spirit to be my best friend. I want to find someone who is sane, stable, kind and who views the world at least a little bit the same way I do. I don't care a lot about background, color, height, weight, etc., but I would like to find a man who is science literate, vegetarian or vegan, intelligent, funny, and companionable. Churchgoers and republicans are probably not going to interest me. Being kind to each other would seem to be the first and maybe even the most important step in falling in love. |
