| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| "You are what you eat" Before in my youth i was indulging in meat products every day. Many of my friends now can hardly believe I became vegetarian.Perhaps my ex girlfriend had some positive influence on me becoming vegetarian and I am grateful till death to her. One morning,7 seven years ago,sudden transformation occurred in m brain- I woke up saying to myself : "What a heck are you doing? -eating slaughtered,dead animals?-NO WAY anymore." Since then meat became disgusting corpse never to enter my belly again. So in a nutshell, that is my vegetarian story. Now I am die hard vegetarian ,but nevertheless,wannabe vegan. No matter how hungry I feel I would never stretch my arm to grab piece of meat.Actually I find dead animal corpses disgusting to my system. Vegan mission: Always looking for excuse not to consume eggs or milk. One of my main weaknesses is GOAT MILK.Cow milk I can somehow let go, but goats...... Contemplating from the present time distance when I got severe food poisoning ,back in Philippines,the worst one in my life ,Salmonella type. Hazy brain,shaky joints,nasty stomachache,diarrhea and colorless urine running out of me every 3 minutes combined with greenish vomit. All that struck me literally immediately after ravenously devouring omlette for breakfast in semi prestigious restaurant frequented with foreigners. And ,now I actually am grateful to God for it. This experience pushed me further away from eggs,and now whenever i can I am looking for excuse not to eat eggs,no matter how hungry I am. One more more step (milk) and I will be completely vegan! But milk is the fortress not easy to brake (for now). What is God thinking now? Maybe I've been waiting for you to give me that final leg up. |
