| I became a vegetarian 18 + years ago, when I found out about animal cruelty and factory farming. I'm pretty close to vegan now, but am not perfect so don't consider myself fully vegan (I cut out gluten and the full transition is difficult). I am also vegetarian for the environment and my health. |

| Hello my fellow Veggies! :) Many of my interests involve Environment. Many of the activities I like to do are outdoors including as hiking, canoeing, backpacking, kayaking, camping (interior backcountry camping is the best kind), snowboarding (or skiing) in the winter and scuba diving to explore the underwater scenery when traveling. I am also interested in conservation, green building etc. When not outside, I like using my creative side by cooking, making soap, water colour/painting to sewing and more. I had been traveling a lot , but am more 'settled' now (with a job and an apartment instead of a backpack and a hostel), so I now have a best little friend (an amazing rescue dog from California), who is absolutely adorable. We love to explore hiking trails. She may be small, but she keeps runs circles around me!.. maybe you would come and join us?... |
