| I am a vegetarian because I cannot fathom killing something so I could eat it. It's completely unnecessary to do that, and too hard to wrap my mind around it. There is so much still to experience in the world that I want to keep my body and mind as active as long as possible so I can see and do lots more. |

| I am an optimistic woman who is thankful to still be young at heart and in outlook. I can be funny (especially with the right person) and like to laugh. I am originally from Oklahoma, lived in St. Louis, MO fifteen years, and have been in New Mexico for nineteen years. The mountains, blue sky, and light are exquisite. I feel lucky to be able to use and learn more Spanish every day at my job as a middle school social worker. I also love the summers and holidays off! I'm interested in studying astrology, meditating. and have an insatiable curiosity for many subjects. I am especially drawn to learning more about alternative healing methods such as homeopathy. I have been vegetarian since I was 22 when I took my first yoga class. I still enjoy doing yoga and think flexibility of the body helps with flexibility of the mind. My 97 year old mother came to live with me over five years ago, and she is doing great. She self-published a book of her childhood that is quite good, and now we're working on her 100+ short stories. I would love to share some of my great life with someone. |
