| I am an ethical vegan. I have been a vegetarian for most of my life. I became a vegan when I found out about the treatment of cows and their calves in the dairy industry and the treatment of egg-laying hens. |

| More About Me |
| My pictures are current within a year or so. I'll post more later. I am signed to a record label as an improvisational pianist. I play only original, completely improvised music. I am aware that music is a healing force, and I believe it to be a living force when improvised. Robert Schumann once said that the duty of the artist is to send light into the hearts of men. I strive to create music that does just that and also to live a life that is also dedicated to sending light into the world. I care deeply about animals and their rights. I grew up in the country on a huge farm, and I would love to end up in the country again at some point. I am very interested in sustainable housing, and I have read a lot about earthships and cob houses. I own a small home. I love dogs. I grow my own veggies. I work as a senior online editor for a university in Asia for which I edit Master's and PhD-level research written by Chinese speakers of English. I meditate daily. I am illustrating a book I wrote. I am a published poet. I exercise regularly, and my health is very important to me. I have been divorced for many years. I am not a "destination addict." I don't believe that the next job, lifestyle, or man will be "the answer." I am learning to live much more in the moment than I have in the past, but I also lead a life of hope for a better world in which a great relationship would contribute positively to my life goals. |
