| Why I'm Vegan |
| There is no need to kill for nourishment. In fact, the opposite is true. The highest consciousness we can manifest as human beings on this earth is love and compassion. And one way to eat compassionately is to become vegan. Along with compassion comes wisdom and joy in the knowledge that being a vegan is good for the body, spirit, soul, planet and all sentient beings. |

| More About Me |
| I am an Artist, Architect, Advocate and Teacher. In my current position, I advocate for disability rights and help the disabled with home modifications. In my spare time, I advocate for environmental and animal welfare issues. I love all animals, especially cats. I have a good sense of humor and am politically progressive. I have a college degree in Art and in Architecture. I am a licensed Architect in the State of California and am working on obtaining my New Mexico Architectural license. I love art and am also an Artist who has done oil/acrylic painting, water colors, pottery, and print making (collagraphs). Visual Art is a part of all cultures and I believe it is so powerful because it connects us directly to our subconscious and higher spiritual selves, as well as to the collective unconscious, as it's impact is not filtered through speech or the intellect. I have been a Teacher as well and, although I am not currently teaching, I have taught the following subjects at the junior college level: Project Management, manual drafting, and Computer Aided Drafting (for Architectural, Structural, Civil, Industrial Process Piping and Mechanical Design). I also taught Career Success Skills, including Written Communications, Goal Setting, Conflict Resolution, Study Skills,Teamwork Skills and Time Management Skills. For several years, I taught grades 7-12, where I was endorsed to teach Art, Language Arts, Science Technology, French and Special Education. I have been vegetarian for many years, but recently have turned vegan. Despite all the above activities, I feel that the most important, wise, satisfying, healthful, compassionate and easiest thing I do as a human being on this planet is to eat vegan. I love cooking and I have recently begun learning to cook Aryvedic and Asian vegan recipes, as well as other vegan dishes. Maybe I can try them out on you? |

| It's difficult to find other vegans near my home or at work. I would like to meet more vegan or vegetarian friends as well as a fully conscious soul mate on a spiritual growth path who eats vegan or vegetarian, and who cares about the planet, animals and the environment. |
