| Why I'm Vegan |
| In June of 2015, as it happened, I was on facebook one day and saw something interesting; Gary Yourofsky's 'Best Speech you will ever hear". I watched that all the way through, and he recommended I watch Earthlings. So I did, and I almost cried, and immediately decided that I wasn't going to participate in that kind of cruelty, and went vegan overnight. I screwed up and ate eggs a couple days later, but got the hang of it really quickly and have been 100% vegan for the last 3 years and 9 months, save for some mistakes. |

| More About Me |
| I am a college student and the University of Nebraska at Kearney and am majoring in Molecular Biology with a completed nutrition minor. I want to work on rejuvenation biotechnology to translate current animal and cell culture research into human clinical trials aiming to prevent, stop, or even reverse age-related diseases and extend healthy human lifespan. I can solve a Rubik's Cube in 20 seconds or less. My best time is 10.18 seconds, and the world record is just less than half of that, at 4.73 seconds. I sometimes eat 10 pounds of vegetables in a day. That's why at UNK I am known as Veggie Man. And yes, I respond to that name when I am called it. It's part of my identity. I like to lift weights, play video games ( mainly Nintendo games ), play bass trombone ( I actually made All-State band in high school 2 of the 3 years I auditioned ), watch youtube videos, have intellectual conversations about science, religion, politics, philosophy, etc. I also like to watch some documentaries, especially those about science, like black holes, and nature. I sometimes do some 'storm chasing' if there's a strong storm nearby. I also like to play Cards Against Humanity! It's quite fun! I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff... |

| I haven't met very many vegans in person since I live in a state with a huge amount of beef, and never had a girlfriend either. I came here because I don't think I'd find a vegan girlfriend by random chance, and it's really important to me. |
