| Why I'm Vegan |
| I was diagnosed with colon cancer, and cured it with veganism and cannabis oil. I presoak grains, beans, eat leafy greens with my meals, and lots of steel cut oats, grits, quinoa. I fell in love with mushrooms, believe vegan permaculture can feed the world. I am vegan now for my own health, and also for the animal rights, and for saving the planet. I enjoy cooking vegan, but have transitioned to eating more raw foods, smoothies, just raw fruit, greens. |

| More About Me |
| I was raised on an Indian Reservation as the child of white Christian missionaries. I did not know I was white until I moved off Indian land when I was 5. I moved with my parents as they relocated every 3 years until I graduated high school, I served in the US military as a Foreign National with an honorable discharge. I started several successful businesses, raised 5 children and am now divorced, my ex is remarried. I believe in commitment in relationships, honesty, and acknowledgement that we can find attractive qualities in people outside our current committed relationship. The sign of maturity is recognition that emotions change, that commitment is not always full of romantic feelings. We are all free to pursue any goals or relationships desired, but only with full notice to any party that has a preexisting agreement of exclusivity with us. My oldest son runs a plumbing business in Washington that we started together, I am basically "retired". I keep a low overhead and do volunteer work. I work every day in some capacity, in my son's business, for non profit, or volunteer. After being a business owner and high income earner for my entire life, I'm enjoying not chasing the dollar and focusing on peace and projects, which may not be attractive to most women. I'd like to have acreage again, build my own home again now that I'm older, find a woman with similar interests and learn to bond again, gather food, share life with plants and animals, admire and appreciate each other. If you have a streak of gray hair, do yoga, smile a lot, laugh, and are feminine... My current life pursuits: Thai medicine Neighborhood food production initiatives Yoga Finding a life connection that is responsive and kind, traveling the USA. Animal rescue/vegan permaculture combinations/mental health/homeless rehabilitation and community living. |
