| Simply put i'm vegan for the animals and environment; the health benefits are just an added bonus. From a very early age i made the connection to what was being served on my dinner plate to the animals who's lives were being taken. It intrinsically felt wrong and at age 11 i decided to become vegetarian, much to my meat-loving family's dismay. Becoming vegan was the next natural progression and i haven't looked back since! |

| More About Me |
| Hi! I'm a long time ethical vegan (16 years and counting!!) and couldn't picture living any other way. I tend to be a bit shy at first but warm up quickly. Being an empathetic, positive, compassionate, and honest individual is what i strive for and is how i'm raising my 2 vegan kiddos. I love to laugh and joke around too; life is too short not to. I've always felt a deep connection to animals and nature. I enjoy most outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, birdwatching, botany, and the beach. Staying fit is also important to me. I try to work out and stay as active as possible and find myself getting a little antsy if i don't. Plus i really enjoy baking and cooking all sorts of tasty vegan goodies, so i need to balance that with plenty of exercise! I have a fairly eclectic taste in music, but predominantly indie rock and metal. Going to concerts and seeing live bands is another activity I enjoy. I just had the pleasure of seeing The Afghan Wigs and Built To Spill, great show! Reading a good book curled up with my cats, especially during the winter months is not unheard of either! I'm really bad talking about myself but if you have any questions just ask. |
