| Why I'm Vegan |
| I was once watching an episode of Game of Thrones and Ned Stark said something like: "if you issue the sentence you should swing the sword." I already had the idea of veganism in my mind but then I starting thinking about how killing animals for food didn't feel right since there were so many other things I could eat. All the other environmental and health benefits are just icing on the cake. |

| I love to garden and grow plants. I like to read and find time almost every day. I used to play music in a band but now just play for fun. I love nature and try to spend some time outside each day, even if it's just a short walk. I like playing computer and board games; anything strategy related. I like to be creative and have an amusing imagination! I laugh a lot and find humor in everyday life. Though I'm a sensitive person, I have a masculine energy and generally am decisive and protective. I like making the people that are special to me feel safe and desired. I communicate well and have very good intuition. I trust my heart and look inward when I need help with a challenge. I know that I am brave and don't fear change. I also can find a silver lining in nearly everything. I'm most proud of my discipline and my ability to commit to a plan and stay the course. I work as an elementary school teacher and have always gotten along really great with children. My first year teaching I had a student who said he wanted to be my butler. I'm not quite sure how that idea got in his head, but I wasn't going to let a rare butler opportunity like that pass me by. So I employed him and paid him in stickers. At young ages, children are so open with what they are feeling or experiencing, and I find that really admirable. I hope to meet a woman on here that is still connected with her inner-child. She isn't afraid to be silly and free, but also isn't afraid to be open about things that might not be going perfectly and recognizes that there are people there to help. I'm straight and looking for a potential romantic partner who has similar interests and a drive to be healthy and happy. The most important things I'm looking for in someone are empathy and kindness. My ideal woman wouldn't be perfect, but she would be resilient and virtuous. Together we'd be making a difference through kindness and compassion whether we were outside exploring the world, or inside together watching a thunderstorm. We'd communicate through difficulties rather than push any negative feeling away or simply try to cover it up. Overall, we'd smile when we were together and the world would be a better place because we got to know each other. |
