| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I'm passionate about lessening absolute poverty. The closest people that share this passion the involved with the Effective Altruism movement. It's a small nascent movement. Anyway, a lot of us are vegan/vegetarian because of the suffering involved in certain animal's lives (e.g., chickens, dairy cows). I'm vegetarian, plant-based at home (flex-vegan) because of the prevalence of intensive animal farming in the US. Try to change my mind. |
