| I am originally from Mukwonago Wisconsin and currently live 40 minutes west of there in Whitewater Wisconsin. I was Hare Krishna for a long time and although I am more of a Buddhist now I still practice a little of Hinduism and often go to the temple. I will not allow meat or egg or pets in my home. I work on circuit boards and really like my job. I have been meat and egg free for a long time and stopped drinking milk in 2016. When I stopped eating meat in 2008 I still sometimes ate some baked goods even if it had egg but stopped eating anything with egg like a year or so later. I stopped drinking milk in early 2016. After that I would sometimes eat things that had butter or cheese in them. Temples usually use ghee for their cooking oil and the only exception I make is if I visit the temple I might have some veggies that we're cooked with ghee. ... I have been grain free since February and eat mostly fruit. I eat fruits nuts, roots, veggies, herbs and spices. I also practice some native American Shammanism and my main plant teacher is San Pedro. I believe that Ayahuasca, San Pedro, peyote, magic mushrooms, cannabis, Iboga, and DMT should all be legal and are beneficial to humanity. I thought about one day living in a fructarian/vegan community in Ecuador when I retire. I am friends with an indigenous San Pedro shaman in Peru and I thought about going back to Peru one day to train with him to become a San Pedro shaman myself and also grow San Pedro in Ecuador and/or Peru. During San Pedro ceremonies I can sometimes meet and talk with spirits and ancestors. I also learn new age philosophy and believe extra terrestrials are real and that the first contact where extra terrestrials land publicly for all the world to see will be in 2033. I am a sun gazer and sun bather. That's what I do the most. I also chant Vedic mantras. I read the Puranas; Vedic histories, and Buddhist sutras. My reason for traveling is to visit holy places, temples and sacred sites ..... I lived in Asia for more than a decade and so I have friends in many different countries; I also have friends in Mexico and Peru. Of course visiting the friends I made is another thing I like to do when possible.🙂 |
