Why I'm Vegan |
Why am I vegan... Because it is the logical moral and ethical step when you grow as a being. Because I am healthier, stronger and happier than I was before I became Vegan. Because it is the most obvious practical step to protect this precious earth that encapsulates us. |

More About Me |
I am 40, love trail running, love the gym, love getting out in nature (walks, tramps, runs etc..), I have tattoos splattered about my person, I have two utterly pointless degrees. I have two amazing little people, Atlas and Storm, who live with their mum. I am open, empathetic, compassionate. I love physical affection and love sex. my life ideology (the way I try to live my life 24/7) So I am a big believer in "I don't know" seems like the more I have learnt about life as I have grown, the less I have realised I truly understand. Saying "I don't know" means I am open to actually finding the truth about things, rather than claiming to have the answers. I have a spiritual side, but it is more practical, than esoteric. I think that changing your life for the better is simply about changing your perspective and living in the moment, realising that what happens in your coconut is often fiction, especially where the past or future is concerned. Be kind, be compassionate and above all be empathetic. For me this means from the random interactions you have daily with other people (people includes all other living creatures) all the way up to our global environment. In respect to people, this means seeing the 'need' behind someones comments or actions, even when they are being judgemental or cruel. I am finding that doing this, along with seeing that peoples opinions and actions belong to their story (their narrator) frees you from your own anger and resentment, making life a lot lighter and full of joy. Finally, I also believe that love is something we have in us, not something other people can fill us with, or make us "whole" with. I think that whole idea of "looking for love" is nonsense, like your going to find love hiding in the wheely bin three doors down... So, in summation - I don't know; practical spirituality; be empathetic; and give the love that has always existed in you to others with joy. |
