| Why I'm Vegan |
| When I was 11 I became vegetarian after a visit with a farmer in Vermont. He invited me to participate in the slaughter, and I declined and decided then that if I were not willing to slaughter animals I should not have anyone do so for me. Off and on I ate chicken, dairy, eggs and fish but at age 48 I took the plunge and went entirely vegan, which has suited me very well. It's so much easier in 2019 than it was last century. |
