| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I've been vegetarian for 30+ yrs. now. It began quite simply as a result of my love of animals, and not being able to rationalize my being a cause for their suffering. I'm mostly vegan, but do occasionally consume a bit of dairy. I'm not proud of this, but do have a difficult time saying no to a piece of cheesecake if it's offered. For the most part though, my diet is very health oriented. Organic whole foods being the bulk (no pun intended) of it. Also, I've been researching the raw food diet for the past year or so, and find more and more of what I eat being uncooked. |

| Wow - I passed part 1 above with no spelling errors! OK - let's see if I can do the same here - - - I'm one of the many transplanted New Yorker's here in Florida. Love the climate. I share a home here with my carnivorous canine kids. There's so much that could be said here, and yet I'm uncertain as to what to write.
