| Hey, thanks for looking! I don't need you to be just like me, at all, but you should understand who I am. Let's help you weed me out. I am musician, not at all bad in my opinion, but I do original music, and that's a tough gig. So, I'm also an overly-educated service worker, like many. I recently did a 3-year stint to get a tech degree (on top of my original creative writing BA) only to find that the job is awful and I don't want it. Honestly, though that was my ticket to the upper-middle class, I feel like I dodged a bullet. I value time, peace, love, friendship, my ****ing awesome cat, great art and music, and a non-destructive (if murky) purpose over material gain, social status and appearance, wealth, or power. I'm not extremely superficial, but I do keep myself fit. Vegetarian since 19, strictly vegan for about 10 years, . You don't have to be a complete vegetarian or vegan, but I will happily tell anyone in detail why you should be, if you like. I don't preach to strangers or friends. I am not sanctimonious. |
