| Novice nature nerd and amateur classical pianist. I'm an active, outdoorsy intellectual. My hobbies include (native plant and vegetable) gardening, hiking, working out, travel, reading and writing. I'm also an avid international traveler and can't wait for this pandemic to end so I can take another trip with VegVoyages--an amazing vegan tour operator. (I'm signed up for Sumatra in 2022, fingers crossed it will come to fruition). I'm curious by nature and love exploring new places, walking for hours, and learning new things. I work as a self-employed linguist and teach at a local community college. I recently moved to the DC area to be near my aging parents, but Atlanta is my hometown. While in Atlanta I partook in lots of animal-rights street activism and protests. I hope to return to that once Covid is under control. |
