| I'm a really big heavy metal fan. I got into metal through Iron Maiden first, then avant-garde metal, then everything else. I prefer avant-garde and black metal, but I love all sorts - melodic death, post bm, etc. I like medieval and traditional European music too. Also 80s experimental electronic. I have an educational background in natural science but hope I can centre my career around animal rights sooner or later. I participate in activism, mostly but not limited to animal rights. I believe that we as individuals have a lot of power and that we should exercise that to make things better for everyone, nonhumans and humans alike. People with no interest in politics at all probably will not mesh well with me, because in my opinion, we cannot escape from "politics" since we are forced into it - only extremely privileged or people who think it's all futile have the luxury of disconnecting themselves from caring. I don't like that attitude, and it's a common nonvegan attitude. I like to travel, explore, be outside. I am from England and want to re-settle in Europe. I get immense joy from plants, especially edible and medicinal plants, I love to cook healthy food and really appreciate that we have such an abundance of them to eat, which when eaten in variety, keep us in great mental and physical health. I want to have a large food and herb garden one day. |
