| In 1992, purely out of empathy for animals, I became vegetarian and dairy-free, and remained so for the next 7 years. But after I went back to work in an office setting, I reintroduced cheese in order to join office events. Still mainly vegan and vegetarian but will eat fish, and real cheese, when I'm a guest or on travel and options are limited. |
