| Why I'm Vegan |
| I became a ovo-lacto vegetarian after I read an article on predator damage control. About 6 months later after learning more about the torture of animals, the health and environmental aspects of animal agriculture, etc. I became vegan. Pizza was the toughest obstacle but when I stopped, it was the best thing I ever did. I had some support, as I joined a local grassroots activist group and did a lot of research, and public outreach, protests, etc. As time passed I also learned about the exploitation of mostly migrant workers who work in horrendous conditions in factory farms and food processing plants. I have been vegan for over 30 years. |

| Over the past few years I've been focusing on energy and breathing using imagry, crystals, Tai Chi, Feng Shui, Tapping and EMDR therapy. I've also discovered don Miguel Ruiz, a writer who has enabled me to gain wisdom and peace. He has written many books, including The Four Agreements, The Mastery of Love, and many others. I like to commune with nature often taking walks in the neighborhood and at nature parks. |
