| I have always been interested in Consciousness and Qualia. The more I learned the clearer it became that it is wrong to harm or exploit animals. I'm very much an Anti-hedonist and it was clear that animals are paying the price for the human pursuit of pleasure. |

| I am a volunteer firefighter and a Precinct committee person, donate blood or platelets to the Red Cross often, enjoy the museums around me (even took a class to operate steam tractors).
