| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| It’s the right thing to do! For ethical, moral, environmental, and health reasons being vegetarian and vegan is imperative to me and I am fully committed to this life-long decision. It’s feels good and makes me happy. As a child, I was semi-vegetarian before I even realized it - in 8th grade! But 7 years ago, my 16 year old son committed to being vegan and I realized I have the same values against animal cruelty and hence, and I also fully committed (along with his younger 3 sisters). I have been both consistently vegetarian and vegan. For 1.5 years was vegan within the past 7 years. One of my daughters has been vegan consistently and I am pretty much vegan as well, with very few things I eat that contain any dairy. I love to keep finding new foods and recipes - it’s a great feeling and a wonderful bond to share with others! |

| I am originally from the Midwest and have lived in Arizona since graduating college. I am committed to social justice and have earned many degrees from following my passions in helping others. Since I was 11years old I knew I wanted to be a psychologist. I have a Doctorate in clinical forensic psychology and a Master of social work. I am pursuing a Juris Doctor but not currently enrolled (I would love to find someone to capture my attention and match my love for the law! Lol!) as that degree is just for personal fulfillment (I want to provide free legal services). Whatever role I am in it will no doubt be in a helping capacity. That is my life’s work (paid or volunteer) and my joy. I love to laugh and you will always catch me smiling! Family and community are everything to me. |
