| There are many reasons to be vegan! I enjoy the health benefits but I'm also glad that my diet does not result in mistreatment of animals and has a relatively low carbon footprint. |

| More About Me |
| I'm "nothing if not adventurous", according to a friend. I spend most of my free time practicing yoga and am training to teach the subject in the tradition of BKS Iyengar. For a living I teach math for a university. I am a proud father of a beautiful teenage girl of whom I have 50% custody. I love the outdoors and occasionally go hiking, camping, SUP, climbing or swimming, but most of my outside time is during my daily walks or bicycle commutes through Chattanooga. I love music and I play guitar as a hobby. |
