| I originally found the vegan diet when I was researching nutrition and began to learn about the horrors of factory farming and the costs to the environment. It has been a process for me with a few wrong turns, but have found information sources that I trust and try to continue to follow the science. |

| I’ve recently become an empty nester, and after working at at a psychiatric hospital as a care aide for the last 25 years, am looking at semi - retirement in the next couple of years. I lean to the left politically, and that has become very important to me as well as following a vegan diet. I feel very afraid for the earth’s future if conservative politicians continue to misinform the public about climate change while supporting fossil fuel industries and animal agriculture. I will add to this later while I try to think of some of my lighter, fun attributes. I’m sure I have some..🤔 |
