| In 1972 I decided I didn't need to kill animals to survive. I gave myself a week to see how it would go without meat and did fine. Not a very balanced diet though. I used get headaches so often I considered it normal. When I stopped eating meat it was it was year before I had a headache. |

| In 1988 I got my massage license and I volunteered at my second oil spill helping clean oiled birds. I have been involved in both ever since. I live in the San Juan Islands i a 20' yurt in the woods with owls. |
