Hello there. I’m going to say right up front that I’m not interested in sex. If you are reading my profile looking for a potential sexual liaison then you are wasting your time. And mine.
I live and work near Carson City Nevada. Its normally a desert like climate, hot and dry. It’s near the Sierra Mountains, though, so we get winter weather, rain and snow. Lake Tahoe is about an hour away so we also get the tourists and crowds and traffic that go along with that. The ski resorts, such as Squaw Valley, draw the same in the winter months.
I’m drive truck for a construction company to pay my bills and keep me and my little black cat, Babushka, in kibble. I rent my small, one bedroom cabin, from my sister. She lives next door and we help one another out in various ways, such as taking turns pushing the trash bin to the curb for pickup.
I’m live a mostly vegan lifestyle. Which makes me a bit different than most around here. I don’t attend events which exploit animals. I don’t go to circuses, rodeos, Sea World, chili cook-offs, traditional barbecues, horse races, animal exhibits, you get the idea. I’ll add more to this later.

Right now? A snapshot of me is a bachelor with a bunch of cats. How i got here is a good story that i would love to share. I like to imagine that i am nearing the end of my work career, but i still enjoy my work. I am planning for a change after one more winter. I would love a more rural setting for my next career. Recently added garden food to the menu and there is no going back. The quality of supermarket food is steadily dropping. So listen everyone; if your aim is for plant based diets to save the world, then promote local organic growing.

I believe in equality in relationships and like giving and sharing. I'm very romantic at times and feel skill in communication is a basic key for a happy, sustainable couple. Altogether, I was a monk for several years and try to keep up a practice of meditation and live a loving life. Traveling to meet other cultures and communing with nature are favorites. Working out in a gym, biking, hiking, giving/receiving massage, natural health therapies, a little yoga; for fun and to honor the temple. Anything positive that would strengthen the relationship with a loved one. I feel most comfortable around fellow activists and other life-full folks. Never owned a TV. I love reading and talking about news, history, science, health, enlightenment, ecology, relationship, politics, activism, etc.; not just to talk but to learn and do. I play keyboards and write lyrics and poems on occasion. Some of my deepest experiences have come from listening to, and playing music. Veggie since 1984, recent years vegan. I Love nature, I really do - not only nice views, or "fishing and hunting" as some claim. I shiver and agonize realizing all the pain, and unrighteousness committed against the living world, and against the vegetarian lifestyle. Malicious, insolent lies, false "scientific" research against vegetarians, and vegetarianism, especially it's more advanced types like vitarianism, veganism, fruitarianism etc. show us, that it's time to stand up and speak up for our rights. Not only ours, but also our "brothers in Darwin", and the rest of the Nature, that is being relentlessly tortured to death. As we see around, the politicians do almost nothing about solving those vital problems, and they quench any initiative to solve them, the "scientific" world works for the corrupted system, from one side proving our rights, and from the other side speaking against them, according to the salary. So we, veggies have to say something. We cannot say now, that "we didn't know about it" as people during WW2 might say about concentration camps. We know too much to keep silent. This is why I wish that connections between our people be established in order to support each-other, especially those who struggle with problems within the family and "friends", at work/school, in discussions about "our way", pointing to the real sources of today's problems, and giving the solutions...
