Where I live in Melbourne is a beautiful area with many Vegan restaurants close by. Melbourne is among the fastest growing Vegan cities in the world. I love travel , and specially in Asia and more particularly in Thailand. I enjoy teaching English to foreign students. I own a business and run it myself. I have a good understanding of subjects such as health and disease and feel I can speak authoritatively and passionately about these. All my shoes and belts and wallet etc are not made from leather. I have exclusively used these type of products for over 20 years. I am Very aware of and own books by early health pioneers like Herbert M Shelton from the US and Arnold Ehret from Germany and many others. I like making short movies and documentaries etc.

I have traveled a road that has been filled with many fun days that I thought would never end. I have been in the hospitality industry all my life. Took hotel restaurant management and some business management courses in college. Currently, I am not working post-Covid because I am a full-time caregiver for my elderly parents who are aging in place in the family home a half-hour from my house here in Loudoun County Virginia. My wife and I were best friends, lovers, and she knew me better than I knew me. She was my soul mate. Since we lost the fight against cancer, I have taken grief therapy group meetings until Covid and then Zoom. I took up TMD Transcendental Meditation and it has been a gift from her I feel. It really helps me process my stress and grief. Keeps me grounded and helps me control the emotions of loss and angst. I had finally found my "why". Before I met my wife I was happy being single, was younger, and full of good times and cheer. I met hundreds of interesting people from all walks of life. The experiences and stories could fill up a bookshelf. I outgrew all of that when I shifted into the fine-dining part of the hospitality industry. Money was good, I was independent, started my own IRA, got my wine education, and can sell wine with the "somms" of the world. I had been mentioned for positive reviews in newspapers for great knowledgeable service. I worked in an Italian fine dining restaurant that paid for the down payment on our townhouse. Life was getting better and I was becoming more aware.
I met my wife at the restaurant she was the sister of my co-worker and just came from helping her Mom in Peru who had a stroke. She came back to the states to work as a dental assistant when she started working nights in the coat check. It was an attraction that sprang into love.
Since she passed I went into a shell I did not even think about finding anyone else. And to be honest I am fine if I do not. But as I come to a crossroads in my recovery, I feel it's important to reconnect with the outside world. To find my new journey. That's all the more meaningful as I am giving my two elderly Parkinsons riddled parents in-home care because of Covid and my Mom's fear of nursing homes. So that's a peak. I have nothing to hide and all to gain.

I love art and music, especially live music. I love watching sci-fi, e.g. Star Trek. I have been known to binge watch detective shows as well. I like doing work around my house and I’ve taken up woodworking but I am still a little scared of my table saw.. I enjoy taking my dogs for a good walk or hike. Running is meditation for me - I am a consistent but not a fast runner. I love spending quiet family time in a comfortable, loving home. I try to be an authentic person, and I am fairly straightforward in my speech and mannerisms. I am an introvert, although most people who know me are surprised to hear that. I revel in the silence of the redwoods and majesty of the mountains and prefer them to the beach, but couldn’t really complain about any of them. A few words that would describe me are: Adventurous, Spontaneous, Curious, full of energy.. Im the guy that usually brings a cloth bag to go grocery shopping, to save a tree. Traveling must be at the top of the list. Some places I have traveled.. Peru, Cyprus, Switzerland, Carribean, Fiji, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Iceland, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Canary Islands and around the USA.. I find it really interesting to experience cultures that are new to me, and to see the differences in how people live and how they act... I have come to realize that here in America, we generally live a much "faster paced" life with less traditions than some of the other cultures I have visited.
Other interests include outdoor interests including hiking, mountain biking, rollerblading, kneeboarding, snow skiing, rock climbing.. I also enjoy researching and learning about subjects that interest me. Im like a sponge and like to soak up information.
Im into reading and self-improvement. Im currently into Gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables and wild edibles. Ever taste fresh Tamarillo or Magenta Lambs Quarter or Stevia? Delicious! Many times im quiet and just listening and learning.. unless you get me talking about something I know about.
I am a fix-it-guy, I have worked on remodeling/construction/cars/ electronical items, a tinkerer at heart.

I am an adventurous, easy going guy who loves travels, nature, photography and experiencing new places and cultures...I'm a nature lover and an explorer by heart..(Recently I got back from a full year of traveling around Australia and New Zealand). I like sports (doing, not watching(-:) and love anything that pumps adrenalin into your blood, like skydiving, motorcycling, rock climbing and extreme sports in general... I love the ocean and related activities like scuba diving and surfing. I love the winter and the rain, and try to avoid the sun as best I can (I get burnt very easily)...if I survived the Australian desert I'll survive anything...
music is my life I love anything that's good, from metal to classical music, while skipping Britney Spears and her likes.. I'm also trained in Classical Piano, I managed to play on the occasional Piano while traveling, now I'm back to practicing on a daily basis.
When I wanna engage in less "dangerous" activities I like to relax at home and watch a good movie, preferably under blankets with my loved one :)
Few things turn me on more than feeling the curves of the road as I head into the mountains for a weekend getaway with someone special..
