I’ve been a vegetarian for three/four years and am amazed that I wasn’t one sooner. I guess I was in the ranks of the wilfully ignorant but I’ve now seen the error of my ways.
I own my own home, have a funny little convertible car and like nice things. I am styling my home towards MCM /Nordic design. I love acquiring a bargain and am happy to up-cycle something that fits my taste. I used to live in a cottage with beams and a log burner and I miss these very much. If (or should I say when) I win the lottery I am going to buy a lovely little cottage again.
My little piece of heaven is working in a garden or greenhouse. I love growing plants and always try to plant things that attract pollinators.
I sometimes wish I could stop the world and get off….. I fantasise about buying a tiny plot of land and having a secret retreat where the sun sends shafts of light down through the tree canopy and wildlife meanders by without a care. I conjure up a log cabin with a camp fire, a good book and a glass of wine (my only vice 😉) and imagine the sun going down. I imagine the light fading and begin to think about spiders, creepy crawlies and bogey men and the whole elusion is shattered….such is life 😂
Some of my favourite things are, the countryside and animal kingdom, gardening, good food, skiing, live music, cosy pubs, long walks, city breaks, log burners and vegetarians/vegans - this list is not exclusive and in no particular order btw.
I have recently bought a record player and am now the proud owner of three LP’s.
